Peninsular Paper Co. Exploratory Work

This project started entirely conceptually by arranging building elements within a cube of space. Here, we were given a site--the Peninular Paper Company in Ypsilanti, MI. Each segment of this project added a layer of complexity to the design: threshold, sound, daylighting, texture, and finally program. 3D printing the outcome of the design allowed for live daylighting and shadow conditions to be explored.
